If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?

Words are simple things. Most of them. They are tools. They do a job. They connect thoughts. A question came. What word would you give up? It was not a hard question. A word that is a constant. A workhorse. It is a filler. You use it without thinking. It is everywhere. In books. In conversation. It is a habit. This word. It is easy to get rid of. Its absence changes things. Sentences feel different. They feel clean. Sharp. You have to be more careful with what you say. It makes you think. sun came up. Light hit my window. It was direct. Clear. There was no middle man. There was just sun. A cat walked across street. A car was far away. It was a singular moment. No crowd of words. Just what was there. This is why I would give it up. For clarity. For moments made of just what matters. Did you need this word? I did not.
